Portuguese Structure - Chandor Old House
The grandest of Goa's Portuguese mansions, the astonishing Braganza House dates back to the 16th century and occupies one side of the village square in Chandor. The elaborate mansion, which is spread over about 10,000 square meters, has been divided into two disparate wings (eastern and western wings) that are occupied by two branches of the Braganza family.
Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary
Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful place to be visited by the nature lovers and wildlife lovers located in South Goa.This remote sanctuary majorly shelters leopards, gaurs, sambars and spotted deer. Other species such as monkeys, birds, snakes can also be found here a lot. To get the best of this wildlife sanctuary one has to be at one of the two watchtowers in the early morning. These watchtowers are at a distance of 6km and 9km respectively from the entrance.
Palolem Beach
Palolem Beach is a stretch of white sand on a bay in Goa, South India. It's known for its calm waters and for its nightlife, including "silent discos" where partygoers wear headphones. Lined with palm trees and colorful wooden shacks, the beach faces Canacona Island, known for its resident monkeys.
Trekking to Butterfly Beach
A two-hour trek from Palolem Beach will lead you to Butterfly Beach; named because of the hundreds of butterflies you can discover there. Mangueshi Temple, an ancient marvel
One of the largest and Oldest temples in Goa. The magnificent Mangueshi Temple, dedicated to the god Mangesh, a reincarnation of Shiva.
